As an independent developer, I work from my own home. This is sometimes challenging, balancing time between maintenance, cooking, cleaning, family, and work. Creating the right work environment is key. In the summer of 2010 my wife and I designed a new home with the help of Bridlewood Homes with this in mind.
The result was a beautiful 5400 sq ft home with no space wasted. It features 3 offices, 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 fireplaces, 3 car garage, huge kitchen, home theatre room, pool table room, and home automation using Control4. It provides enough space for both of us to work in our own offices, while supporting our growing family.

For equipment I use a 17 inch unibody Macbook Pro, upgraded to a 1 tb hard drive. At my desk I hook it up to a 26.5 inch Samsung monitor, and use a wireless Apple keyboard and Magic Mouse.
There are many times when I need cameras for artwork or taking videos of the games for YouTube. For that I use a Canon video camera and Canon 5D Mark II for still shots.
For testing I have an iPod Touch 1G, iPod Touch 4G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPad.
I also have 2 Windows 7 based PC's which are used on occasion for 3D modeling and composing music.
